Marianne Dillmann<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Marianne Dillmann is a German painter who lives since 1983 on Mallorca \/ Spain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After studying art and pedagogy her artistic style has been influenced by lengthy stays in Puerto Rico, USA, China, but especially from this island of Mallorca.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dillmann’s compositions combine form with colour and texture. By the expressive application of paint and the use of sand, paper and fabric, the artist succeeds in creating tension and three-dimensionality. Gentle lines intermingle with powerful colours. Inks, acrylic paint and grease crayons are Marianne’s preferred media on canvas, paper, wood or on transparent acrylics, in soft layers or delicate transparency.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n
